Lululemon and UN’s Partnership
Lululemon has pledged to commit $1 million dollars in the next three years to the Peace on Purpose organization through a partnership with the United Nations. The Peace on Purpose program is an organization through the UN that gives humanitarian aid workers accessible tools to help reduce their stress levels. These tools include self-care and mindfulness resources that have been proven to help decrease stress levels of these humanitarian aid workers working in high-stress situations all over the globe. The goal of Peace on Purpose is to educate and give over 3,000 humanitarian aid workers the tools they need to help their staff de-stress and protect their mental health over the next three years. These materials include tools to teach workers about regulating their emotions, yoga practices, and how to breathe mindfully. The program’s end goal is to reach 30,000 workers with these new mental health-preserving practices.

Chick-Fil-A Streamlines Charity Giving
Chick-fil-A has decided to focus their charitable giving to three main organizations. These organizations are Junior Achievement USA, a foundation focused on education, the Covenant House International, an organization that helps homeless youths, and the Chick Fil-A Foundation has pledged donate $25,000 to a community food bank in the area of any and all new Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the United States. These organizations have been supported by Chick-Fil-A for several years, but as of this year the Chick-Fil-A Foundation has chosen to increase their support of these three organizations and decrease funding to their other charitable giving sources. Chick-Fil-A has committed a total of $9 million to these three organizations in 2020. Chick-Fil-A’s idea behind this decision is that by focusing their charitable giving to these three organizations, then they can have the biggest impact on achieving their goal of “nourishing the potential in every child.”
