The power of Disney

Disney is one of the most widely known companies on the planet. I was amazed at Disney's reach when I studied abroad in Japan. All of the kids in my class had some sort of Disney merchandise, whether it was a Lilo and Stitch backpacks to Pooh earrings, the kids in my class were obsessed. My classmates would go to Disneyland every single weekend if they could, and some did. The reach and power of  Disney  is absolutely amazing. Disney owns Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. Disney has a net worth of 130 billion dollars. They have reach in virtually every country on earth. They produce their own ideas, movies, toys, publications, theme parks, clothes, and even food. The list is endless. How to save energy on your iPhone

I was very surprised to learn just how much energy my little iPhone can use up. It seems like because it is such a small object, its environmental footprint should be fairly small. Only a few apps need your location, and none of them need it all the time without the app in use. Your...

Apple Consumer Social Responsibility Comm 112

Apple and I have come a long way since then. Now I have an iPhone, a MacBook, and AirPods. Apple has had a huge impact on me and on the world. I looked at  Apple's Consumer Social Responsibility  and saw that it is very impressive. In my opinion, the most impressive aspect of Apple's Consumer Social Responsibility policy is that they are educating workers in mines and factories that are crucial in the production of their products on their rights. When people know their rights they are less likely to be put under oppressive circumstances. Apple also gives their employees ways to anonymously speak up if their rights are being infringed upon. Apple also ensures that the workers in factories associated with their company and products have fair working hours and are not subjected to abuse from their employers. Appl...
